Always improving! These are FreshBooks' latest product updates for January 2020.
We’re ringing in the new year (and decade) with a slew of new improvements! Here’s what we’ve been working on at FreshBooks this January.
Bank Transfers (ACH) Now a Payment Option
Want to offer your customers the convenience of paying by bank transfer? If you accept USD payments, you can now choose to accept Bank Transfers (ACH) as your preferred payment option on invoices. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Enable Stripe or FreshBooks Payments (WePay)
- Select which invoice you would like to offer bank transfers as a payment option
- Uncheck the Accept Credit Cards box and check the Accept Bank Transfers (ACH) box
Use the Timer to Track Time More Accurately
If you prefer to track your time using the Timer, you can rest assured it will track all those precious hours spent on projects more accurately than before.
All time tracked with the Timer will now round down if under 30 seconds or round up if over 30 seconds, to the nearest minute. For example, if you worked on a project for 2 hours, 11 minutes and 45 seconds, the timer will round it up to 2 hours and 12 minutes.
Easily Access Your FreshBooks Subscription Receipts
FreshBooks Subscription Receipts (indicating proof of payment for your FreshBooks Subscription) are now easily accessible by all Business Owners.
These receipts are automatically generated after each successful payment and emailed to the Business Owner’s email address listed in the My Profile section. PDF copies of Subscription Receipts are also available and can be downloaded directly from your FreshBooks account.
Quickly Add Team Members to Projects
Need all hands on deck for a cornerstone project? Save time by bulk adding Team Members to Projects. You can either search for specific Team Members by Name or Role, or add all of them in one go.
Find What You Need, When You Need It
Get the most accurate search results thanks to the improved Projects, Expenses and Time Tracking search functionality.
